Terms of Use
Skoon’s readings are an aid, never a verdict on your prayer. Your own certainty is the judge.
What Skoon is
Skoon is your prayer companion on Apple Watch and iPhone. It records your prayer from your watch as it happens, and shows you rakʿāt, rukūʿ and sujūd in a clear record, along with prayer times, the qibla, and tasbeeh.
What it does not do
- It does not judge the validity of your prayer. Skoon helps you keep track, but your own count and your certainty are what stands.
- It does not give religious rulings. And it is no substitute for people of knowledge.
- The automatic reading can be wrong. That is why it carries the “In refinement” mark.
The subscription
Unlocks — Skoon Pro the automatic reading and some tasbeeh and qibla options. Manual prayer logging, prayer times and alerts, the qibla direction, and basic tasbeeh remain free.
- Every new user gets seven days of free access to Skoon Pro features, with no subscription and no payment — and nothing that needs cancelling.
- After the seven days, you can choose the monthly or the yearly plan. Neither plan includes an extra free period, and the full local price and billing period are shown before you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it — from your App Store account settings, at least twenty-four hours before the period ends.
- Payment and refunds go through Apple alone — we never see your card and keep nothing of it.
- Prices and what they include may change; no change applies to a subscription period already underway.
What is yours
Your prayer and tasbeeh record and voice-feature data are kept on the Apple Watch and the paired iPhone, and may sync between them so features work. We never upload your record, your recordings, or your Skoon Voiceprint to our server. The details are in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
“World Pulse” shows public activity at an approximate location, with no name and no account. It never sends precise GPS location, recordings, your heart-rate number, or the details of your prayer.
Limits of liability
Skoon is provided as is. We do what we can for it to be honest and accurate, and we do not guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. We accept no liability for a decision made on an app reading without your own certainty — not for a prayer repeated, nor for a time missed.
Rights in the app
Skoon — its name, artwork, content, software and technology — belongs to INOV8. You may use it; no part of it may be copied, imitated, sold, or republished without permission.
Changing these terms
This page may change, and the last-updated date is written at its top. Continuing to use Skoon after a change is acceptance of it.
